Who we are

At NUSSBAUM, our primary emphasis is developing new solutions and patented technologies for lifting products for our customers. As one of the world’s largest automotive lift manufacturers, NUSSBAUM offers a broad portfolio of automotive lifts,  for vehicles up to 80 tons. OTTO Nussbaum, our founder,  has created this Vision more than 75 years ago in Kehl/ Germany.

For more than 35 years, NUSSBAUM has been delivering automotive lifts to the United States. Our success has been based upon establishing and maintaining reliable, value-adding relationships with our customers. This, in turn, has allowed us to learn and develop a diverse product line from which we can tailor optimal solutions for our customer’s specific and ever changing needs.

The decision to purchase a NUSSBAUM product means, first and foremost, a cost-effective, low risk investment of capital. Innovation, functionality and quality are all prerequisites to the high standards we incorporate into each of our products. Our goal, every day, is to produce the highest quality product we can and improve our customers' processes at the same time.

Our product line has evolved over the years as have the Needs of the Marketplace. Innovation and a willing responsiveness to changing  market needs has allowed NUSSBAUM to develop closer relationships and partnerships with its customers across the breadth of our company from sales to engineering and manufacturing to installation and service.

Most parts of a Nussbaum lift have been created by one member of the Nussbaum Team, either in Germany or in the USA. Nussbaum is proud to be the only lift manufacturer, who produces ist own cylinder, of which more than 50,000 find their place in one of the many Nussbaum lifting products.

Nussbaum has recently celebrated its 75th anniversary. It is still the Nussbaum Family, now the 3rd Generation,  who controls runs and prepares the business to face today's and future challenges.
